Recently I've been receiving a fair amount of compliments on the apps I have on my phone. So I thought, hmm why not share with you my top five favourite apps I have on my phone at the moment. These bad boys are actually I use them almost everyday and I have praised them to at least one of my friends. Without further ado here's my list:

Top Five Apps For MariasGrid

Let's talk geeky app talk.

1. Headspace

Headspace is an app that I recently discovered. It's a free guided meditation that is absolutely beautifully designed. I have heard so many incredible benefits of meditation and after being hooked to this app for 20 days straight I cannot recommend it enough. It really clears you head and 10 minutes out of your day is really not that much to ask for plus the app is free!

Here's a link on why meditation is fantastic for you in so many ways. Go on, give it a cheeky read:

2. The Whole Pantry

As I'm passionate about an overall healthy lifestyle this app gives you easy, fast and mouth watering recipes that are all incredibly beneficial for you! Sounds too good to be true right? Well it's not. This app is not only so user friendly and the grid design is a dream for any graphic designer but it has the most delicious chocolate mousse recipe that will have you liking your fingers without you feeling a single bit guilty!

3. TurboScan

This app has saved my university life. No more waiting for your printer to take a million years to turn on and then scan that one flimsy piece of paper that you need to email someone. No more! It's literally a scanning device on your phone. Brilliant idea.

4. TubeBox

I have to give a shout out to my girl Rachel for this great recommendation. TubeBox is a full featured YouTube player that lets you to seamlessly stream content to your phone! So basically if you forgot to download or sync that one song in the morning onto your iPod fear not, TubeBox has got your back.

5. WhatTheFont

Last but not least, this app recommendation is to all my designer bloggers/friends/loves/enthusiasts. This app is not only completely free but an incredibly tool to have in your pocket. Whip out your phone and snap a photo, and WhatTheFont will identify that font in seconds!

Boy, do I love the 21st century! Do you have any incredibly good apps that you can't live without? Please share them as I believe sharing is not only caring but also makes other peoples lives a tad bit better!

Hope this post helps you in some way!
